SUMMARY:CARES Community Buildings Fund: Meet the Funder Drop-in
DESCRIPTION:Join representatives from Local Energy Scotland\, who administer the CAREs Community Buildings Fund for an interactive online drop-in session\, where you can ask questions about applications\, funding or project support. This event is organised and hosted by the Scottish Episcopal Church Net Zero Team. \nThe Community Buildings Fund is currently open for applications and provides grants to help community organisations reduce their building’s energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. CARES supports renewable technologies such as heat pumps\, solar PV\, battery storage and solar water heating\, as well as energy‑efficiency measures. CARES can also cover essential costs like planning permission\, building warrants and grid connections. \nEligible community groups can apply for grants of up to £80\,000\, covering up to 80% of project costs\, to help reduce carbon emissions and make buildings more sustainable. \nAll denominations welcome.
